WELCOME TO UPTOWN PROFESSIONAL
Uptown Professional Real Estate School has been teaching
real estate appraisal courses for over 14 years in the New Orleans
and surrounding areas.
Our 75-hour and 125-hour appraisal courses are now offerred online. Both of these courses include the 15-hour National USPAP Equivalent course.
as well as require a LIVE PROCTORED FINAL EXAMINATION. College education (an Associate Degree or higher) is also required for certified Residential. In lieu of the required degree,
Twenty-one (21) semester credit hours covering the following subject matter courses are acceptable:
- English Composition
- Principles of Economics (Micro or Macro)
- Finance
- Algebra, Geometry or higher mathematics
- Statistics
- Computer Science
- Business or Real Estate Law.

Schmidt is the director of Uptown Professional
Real Estate School. "Uncle Rudy", as most of his
students call him, holds five collegiate degrees in various
areas including education, and he has over 25 years experience
as a director and instructor in proprietary education. He
is a Louisiana certified real estate instructor and a real
estate residential and general appraiser instuctor.
Mr. Schmidt has taught
a variety of courses at the university level, and he is also
the President of RS Property Tax Services; which is a successful
property tax appraisal and consulting business that assists
many commercial clients with their property tax assessments. |
